Hardware, Fasteners & Misc. Components

We maintain an inventory of miniature to medium sized hardware, fasteners and unique components that are suitable for many applications and industries. Fasteners and hardware items in both inch and metric sizes are available off-the-shelf, as well as a variety of miscellaneous components. Modifications or custom designs can be produced if the standard does not meet your application requirements.

Precision Fine Threaded Screws

Cam Followers, Plastic, Stud Type
Injection molded from high-performance plastics, these bearings are used in various
applications where lubricated metal bearings are not suitable. They are lightweight,
vibration dampening and provide excellent performance in water, chemicals, and dusty
environments.

Precision Spring Plungers
When you need to align, hold, or latch different parts of equipment together, you need a spring loaded device. These components use the force in the spring to apply pressure so that the ball or nose will remain nested in some sort of hole or other receptacle. Thus two or more elements of equipment can be aligned or fixed into a determined relative position.
Ball plungers have a ball instead of a nose, and no knob. The shallow depth of the ball allows for easy movement in and out of position, but they do not perform well with heavy loads. BALL PLUNGERS are used for many locating applications in dies, jigs, fixtures and other tooling. They are also used in indexing automatic feed devices, for gear shifters, as locators in progressive dies, in torque-limiting clutches, for positioning levers, in gauges... anywhere you need controlled end pressure.
Spring plungers have a nose designed to allow for movement when some side force is applied. In other words, it isn’t necessary (or possible) to retract the nose mechanically. Consequently, these plungers are not appropriate if heavy side load is involved in the application.
