Commercial Ground Metal Balls
Hardened Steel Balls, 52100 Chrome Steel or 440 Stainless Steel are available in diameters of .0625 up to .5. Balls are hardened to RC 55-62.
Commercial Plastic Balls
Lightweight Nylon Balls provide maximum strength while able to withstand shock. Plastic balls are available in 19 diameters ranging in size from .09375 thru 1.0.
Commercial Ball Bearings
Ball Bearings are made of hardened rolling elements and races, a separator is used to space the rolling elements and reduce friction. This shielded or sealed bearing is widely used in instruments and machines to minimize frictions and power loss. The deep groove ball bearing is the most versatile with sealed grease lubrication. Radial loads and thrust-load capacities may be approximately equal in this bearing. With the proper separator it is very good for high-speed operation. A separator of steel ribbon is used for intermediate speeds and at low speeds, no bearing separator is needed. Because of the simple design and the elimination of a separate lubrication system, these bearings can be found in numerous applications.

Commercial & Precision Housings - Bearing & Pillow Block
Bearing and Pillow Block Housings are offered in a variety of materials, sizes and configurations. Precision bearing housings are made of chromic anodized aluminum and are offered with single or double hub. The sintered aluminum pillow block housing is suitable for additional machining and can be used for a wide range of products.
Precision Linear Bearings
Inch and metric Linear Bearings are offered in a variety of materials, closed, open and adjustable types. Standard catalog items include both precision and commercial quality and provide long travel life, quiet movement, high-load capacity, high-position accuracy and low friction coefficient. Some styles are vibration dampening and are maintenance-free.
Precision Needle Roller Bearings
Inch and metric Needle Roller Bearings are offered in a variety of materials and styles. Low profile, lightweight caged needle roller bearings provide up to 3 times the speed of uncaged designs and are available with 9 different bore sizes. Also available are self-aligning needle roller pressbearings and flange-mounted needle roller bearings.
Precision Pillow Block Bearings
We offer a wide selection of inch and metric Pillow Block Mounted Bearings in various materials. Types available include miniature pillow block mounted ball bearings, lightweight thermoplastic pillow block bearings and FDA compliant wash down pillow block bearings.
Commercial Press-Fit bearings
SDP/SI stocks a broad selection of self-aligning and non-aligning pressbearings. For simple quick installation choose a self-clinching pressbearing with either a PTFE-impregnated porous bronze bearing or acetal with PTFE added bearing.
Precision Rod End Bearings
Inch and metric plastic Rod Ends are offered by SDP/SI. These rod ends are maintenance-free, self-lubricating, lightweight and able to compensate for alignment errors and edge loads. Standard catalog items include male or female style with right- or left-hand thread.
Commercial Sintered Bronze Bars
Get Sintered Solid Bar Stock, self-lubricating oil-impregnated bronze, in inch and metric sizes. O. D.'s range from 1/4 inch to 6 inches (6.3 mm to 152.4 mm) and lengths up to 6-1/2 inches (165 mm). All bars are supplied oversized so they can be machine finished to dimensions shown in our catalog.
Commercial Sleeve Bearings
Inch and metric Sleeve Bearings, plain or flanged, are offered in a variety of materials and sizes. Many of our sleeve bearings are made of special polymers that are maintenance-free, provide high-wear resistance, dry-running, chemical resistant, and can withstand high temperatures.
Commercial Spherical Bearings
Self-lubricating, oil-impregnated bronze Spherical Bearings are available with bores 4 mm to 12 mm. Felt washers and spring steel retainers are offered for use with the spherical bearings.

Thrust Bearings are offered in a variety of configurations, materials and sizes. Both inch and metric dimensioned thrust bearings are available as standard catalog items. General purpose polymer, high-temperature polymer and industrial grade polymer thrust washers are also offered.
