Designatronics, Inc. Announces Sale of Advanced Antivibration Components (AAC) Brand to The VMC Group
Press Release | May 14, 2015 | New Hyde Park, NY
The Sale of AAC Furthers Designatronics Strategic Focus on Core Product Groups
Designatronics added vibration and shock attenuation components to their product line in 1971, marketing these products through their Stock Drive Products brand. Because of increased interest and need for these components, AAC was launched in the early 90's in order to provide more focused technical and sales support for the many unique applications.
During the past year Designatronics has taken steps to reshape their strategy and to focus on their core product groups. "The sale of Advanced Antivibration Components to The VMC Group is in line with our strategy," said Designatronics President and CEO, Robert Kufner. "We are creating a new mix of products and services with emphasis on growth markets, improved customer satisfaction and simplification of our processes."
With a renewed emphasis on smaller sized components, Stock Drive Products will continue to market vibration and shock absorbing components, but limited to miniature and small sizes which complement the other motion control components that are currently available.
For more than 50 years design and manufacturing engineers have depended on Designatronics and its brands for high-quality components, subassemblies and engineering expertise. Designatronics is taking significant steps to reshape the company and its offerings to continue providing the outstanding technical support, products and services that they are known for worldwide.
