Town of Oyster Bay Recognizes Designatronics, Inc. as Employer of the Month
Designatronics is Awarded Two New York State Grants to Further Growth and Development

During a visit on February 13, 2019, Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino awarded a citation to CEO Robert Kufner, recognizing his outstanding leadership of Designatronics. “I am so proud of what we do as a company,” said Kufner. “I’m proud to be a part of changing peoples’ lives and advancing technology in our day.” Designatronics provides precision engineered mechanical solutions to a wide array of applications including medical, aerospace, defense, and automation.
In addition to being named employer of the month, Designatronics has been awarded two grants from New York State as part of the 2018 Regional Economic Development Council awards. Receiving $200,000 for additional machinery and about $100,000 to provide employee training, Designatronics will continue to develop, innovate and grow as a precision engineering and manufacturing company on Long Island. “Our mission is to provide the highest-quality small-scale power transmission products at the customer’s request, on time,” said Kufner. “We cut across nearly every industry you can think of.”
